Shipping Instructions

Please follow these instructions to make the shipping of your parts as trouble free as possible:

1. Make sure your parts are well packaged! It does not matter who does the shipping - these parcels can be damaged in transit. Please use a sturdy box and pack the parts so they will not move inside this box. Fill the empty spaces with extra packing (Styrofoam wedges, bubble wrap, Styrofoam peanuts, even newspaper scrunched up). Any sharp edges should be wrapped so they will not puncture your container. Seal the box with packing tape.

2. Please put your instructions about the repair and your address and phone numbers where you can be reached inside the box. If you have an email address send it as well.

3. Label you parcel clearly to this address:

Bruce N. Chessell
314 Knightsbridge Rd.
Woodstock,Ont.
Canada
N4S 7C4

4. Most parcels arrive at our place of business in a week to ten days but it can take up to three weeks if it is a busy time or has to clear customs.

Additional instructions for US and international customers

Our preferred method of shipping your parts to us is with the post office. This seems to be the easiest way to go with the minimal amount of bureaucratic nonsense at the border with customs. We can receive from all the major carriers (UPS, FedEx, Purolator) but they will charge brokerage fees of up to $35.00 which we have to charge back to you, making the repair more expensive.
When you take your parcel to the post office you will be asked to fill out a CUSTOMS DECLARATION FORM. Please list description of items being sent as "Antique motorcycle part to be repaired only--- Will be returned to American owner". Please note that this is critical.
