| The machinist we use specializes in restoring
Amal concentric and monobloc carbs back to better than original
condition. He has been doing it since 1985 with satisfied customers
all over Canada and the U.S.A.
The bodies are bored to a new diameter to true them up and then cleaned in a carb cleaning solution to be sure all passages are clear. The slide is then machined and sleeved in brass so that now the two metals are different thereby greatly reducing the tendency to gall. For concentrics we need the body and slide, for monoblocs we need body, slide and centre choke block sent. Return shipping is extra.

| Save that head!! The port is machined out
and an aluminum liner is then tig welded in place so there is
very little heat generated. There is no need to strip the head,
just leave in the studs, and the rocker covers in place. To ensure a good fit please also send the nuts you are going to use as the size can vary on many aftermarket parts. Of course if yo need new ones we can suppl them for you at a reasonable cost. Please note prices are per side
